Physiological activity

SNAP-8 with mild anti-wrinkle, relax muscle physiological activity, its mechanism is to gently reduce neurotransmitters such as acetylcholine, catecholamine release, reduce muscle contraction tension, to reduce dynamic wrinkles, desalination shallow static wrinkles effect.

Preparation method

at present, the main methods for the synthesis of SNAP-8 and other polypeptides are chemical methods, such as solid phase synthesis and liquid phase synthesis, but there are some problems in this method:

(1) The method needs to add amino acids one by one, this process for more than 3 amino acids of the polypeptide synthesis, the yield will be greatly reduced, and the synthesis process will produce a large number of non-target peptide impurities, the target product purity is low;

(2) In the process of peptide synthesis, each step of adding and connecting amino acids needs to be completed in an organic reagent, and the resulting organic reagent waste liquid needs to be specially treated, which not only causes great pressure on the reagent cost and waste liquid treatment cost, but also has a negative impact on environmental protection. In order to solve the above problems, the market has developed a method for preparing SNAP-8 by combining chemical and biological methods.

according to the structural formula of SNAP-8, the protective dipeptide H-Glu-Glu-OH is first synthesized by chemical method, then the protective pentapeptide Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala is synthesized by biological method, then the H-Asp(OAll)-OMe is synthesized by chemical method, then the protective dipeptide H-Glu-Glu-OH, the protective pentapeptide Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala and the H-Asp(OAll)-OMe are connected in a certain way, and finally the acetyl group and amino group are added by chemical modification to obtain high purity SNAP-8.
