When this method is chosen, a phosphoramidite tetrazolium active intermediate can be generated using dibenzyl phosphoramidite and tetrazolium, linked to a hydroxyl group, and then oxidized to form a phosphoryl group in the peroxyacid environment to complete the reaction.
